Taking on the "clobber passages"--how to respond when people use the bible as a weapon
What is the nature of God in the bible? Wrathful? Loving? How do we deal with what we find there?
Who wrote the bible & why does it include the books it does?
How can we find spiritual depth and meaning in the bible?
What are good translations? Suggested study guides?
Why are Catholic bibles different from Protestant bibles?

The class will be responsive to the interests of the people who attend. What do you want to better understand?
